The Gemini 1200ikd operates at 720 kHz for long-range detection and 1200 kHz for high-resolution imaging, allowing operators to seamlessly transition between wide-area search and detailed inspection. In addition, the system can automatically switch frequencies with a defined range or be manually controlled, providing flexibility for a variety of mission profiles.

Unlike previous Gemini models, the 1200ikd maintains a full 120º field of view at both frequencies, ensuring targets remain in view even during close-range, high-frequency inspection.
