Purge Port for End Caps
The Purge Port for End Caps (PP-129) is a patented, self-sealing purge port designed for use with the Global Ocean Design Deck Purge Box (DPB-107) to remove moisture and perform vacuum leak testing on underwater housings.
Once the purge system connector is removed, an internal check valve automatically closes to maintain a partial vacuum inside the housing. This allows time to carefully clean, inspect, and install the final O-ring before deployment.
