The Reach Systems Kronos Winch is the company’s largest standard winch, providing high cable capacity and pulling power for demanding marine deployment and retrieval applications.
Designed for large inspection-class ROVs, towed sonar systems, advanced hydrophone arrays, and other marine equipment, the Kronos can accommodate substantial tether lengths while maintaining an overall volume of less than 1 m³. Its compact overall size allows it to be installed aboard smaller vessels and mid-sized Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs).
Advanced motor-control options are available with cable counting, level wind, auto-tensioning, and a web interface/API for custom software integration and automated operation.
