CROC Mini Tether Reel
The Reach Systems CROC Mini Tether Reel is a compact, portable cable-management solution originally designed for deploying ROVs and sensors from Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASVs). It is well suited for portable and remote applications using a small-diameter tether.
In its basic configuration, the CROC Mini provides manual payout and retrieval. A Smart Winch option adds an embedded controller and DC motor, allowing the reel to be operated remotely over wireless networks or configured for semi-autonomous payout and retrieval functions.
