Omega Lander
The Global Ocean Design Omega Lander (OL-163) is a configurable deep-ocean lander platform designed for deploying customer-selected sensors and samplers to the seafloor. Available configurations are rated for depths of 7 km or 11 km.
The standard Omega Lander supports a maximum payload water weight of approximately 40 lbs. Supplemental buoyancy is available to increase the maximum payload water weight to approximately 120 lbs. A large dedicated payload bay provides space for mission-specific equipment, with acoustic and timer release options available.
