Deck Purge Box
The Deck Purge Box (DPB-107) is a portable system designed to remove moisture vapor from underwater housings while providing a reliable vacuum leak test to verify seal integrity before deployment. Engineered by Global Ocean Design, the Deck Purge Box helps protect valuable subsea equipment by reducing condensation and identifying potential leaks before the equipment enters the water.
Designed for use with Global Ocean Design Purge Ports (PP-101 and PP-129), the Deck Purge Box provides an efficient method for preparing underwater housings used in oceanographic research, offshore applications, dense applications, underwater imaging, and scientific instrumentation.
Unlike traditional systems that require compressed nitrogen, the Deck Purge Box operates without nitrogen, making it easier to transport, simpler to operate in the field, and well-suited for both laboratory and vessel-based deployments. Its compact, fully integrated design includes universal power compatibility and provides positive pressure to assist with end-cap removal during housing maintenance.
