Blanking Plugs for Glass Spheres
The Global Ocean Design Blanking Plug for Glass Spheres (IFS-114) provides a way to seal an unused pre-drilled connector port while preserving the ability to add an underwater connector later.
The IFS-114 is designed for a 9/16-inch diameter clearance hole with a 1-1/8-inch ground spotface. This allows a glass sphere to be configured with an additional port and kept sealed with the blanking plug until the connection is needed.
When expansion is required, the pre-drilled port can accommodate BH or MCBH bulkhead connectors with 7/16-20 or 1/2-20 threads using the Global Ocean Design MCBH Adapter for Glass Spheres (IFS-180), sold separately.
