Picolander
The Global Ocean Design Picolander (OL-166) is a compact ocean lander platform designed for deploying customer-selected sensors and samplers to the seafloor. Available configurations are rated for depths of 1 km, 2 km, or 10 km.
The standard Picolander supports a maximum payload water weight of 6 lbs. Supplemental buoyancy is available to increase the maximum payload water weight to approximately 16 lbs. Acoustic and timer release options are also available.
